Woh Lamhe

The movie “Woh Lamhe” was watched with preconceived notion that it would be a nothing more than an attempt to cash in on the sucess of the movie Gangster by the same team.

But the experience was quite different barring few of the scenes like the ones showing the lady protagonist drunk and the choreography of the songs.

The performances of both the leads were amazing. The actor Kangna is a wonderful mix of glamour and talent. She is surely another great find by the Bhatts.Shiny Ahuja has already gained attention of the industry with looks and equally good performance.

Like his debut movie even in this movie Shiney has amazing screen presence, considering the fact that Mr. Bhatt had earlier given a almost similar role to the ‘Ashiqui’ boy in his not-at-all successful movie ‘Phir eri kahani yaad aayi’.

But the movie surely belongs ,as it should, to Kangna.She has portrayed the role of a very successful ,lonely sick women with amazing ease. Her portrayal of the schizophrenic really scares you and at the same time makes understand the helpless condition of the patient who has lost his ability to distinguish between the real world and the unreal world the mind shows.

Even this movie was not devoid of pesky scenes, like the one showing the lady throw her panty at the shiney or the ‘sex in the car’ scene which were totally unnessacery. Barring few such slips the movie was nice.

“Schizophrenic” as I read somewhere are actually people with an additional skill, except that they cannot control the skill.
